About the Founder
Shirlonda Evans-McCain is the Founder and Executive Director of The Mindset Change Movement, Inc. It is her vision to help communities---to help themselves---by empowering individuals to live up to their fullest potential regardless of their life situation. Mrs. McCain holds a Bachelor degree in Social Work from Georgia Regents University. She is also a Certified Professional Life Coach, Certified Grief Recovery Specialist, Certified Group Facilitator, Author of “Mindset Change 101”, and Public Speaker.
Over the course of her career Mrs. McCain has facilitated life and entrepreneurship skills workshops for the Rockdale County, GA Juvenile Court’s Evening Reporting Center. She has also provided the Aiken Housing Authority, Hahn Village community with workshops that were customized to accommodate the needs of their community. In partnership with other government agencies, she has provided empowerment workshops to men and women throughout the CRSA within Georgia and South Carolina.
